OBJECTIVES AND COMPETENCIES

The main objective of the Master is to conduct a specialized preparation in the academic field, within the areas covered by the Information and Communication Systems. The knowledge society is demanding, more each day, professionals skilled in R&D&I activities and able to generate and make knowledge and apply it to real world advance. The fact that in the field of Information and Communications, for obvious reasons, these requirements are of special importance and significance, is given. This is one of the challenges which the proposed Master attempts to address, combining the extensive teaching experience of the group of teachers involved in it, and incorporating important methodological developments; leveraging the common elements presented by different existing technologies and developing from them a wide range of possibilities for specialized research. All this supported by the latest information and communication technologies, in order to carry out the teaching of knowledge, skills and methods needed in this field of knowledge.

PROFESSIONAL, ACADEMIC AND RESEARCH OPPORTUNITIES

The Master in Information and Communication Electronic Systems has an academic orientation, while it tries to develop the abilities of its students to both professional and research practice in the field of Engineering in Information and Communication Electronic Systems.

Therefore, in addition to train qualified professionals to develop their professional career in technology companies, will allow graduates in this Master's Degree undertake successful realization of a Doctoral Thesis, as well as develop or direct R&D&I activities. The training students will receive includes the collection, study and synthesis of the knowledge of a certain subject, up to the development and dissemination of new contributions in that field.

ACCESS REQUIREMENTS

Being in possession of an official Spanish University Degree allowing access to this type of study (graduate, engineer, degree or diploma), or another issued by an Institution of Higher Education in the EHEA which authorize in the issuing country to access postgraduate education.

Graduates under educational systems outside the EHEA who, without having made equivalent their Degrees, wish to enroll in the Master's, may do so after verification by the Program Committee of the Master that those credit a level of education equivalent to the corresponding Official Spanish Degree and that it authorizes access to postgraduate studies.

As for the recommended profile of access under which the program has been conceived is the corresponding to a degree in electronics. Access from a similar training can also be favorably considered.

There are no specific prerequisites; however, subjects in the modules have master-level programs, which assume some prior knowledge by the students. To prove the level of knowledge of the language in which the Master will be taught, in this case English.
